Cherry picking! New auto-focus 35mm lens!
Being cherry-picking noobs (it was my first time), we asked this woman who had a good amount of loot which trees she had been picking from. “This tree is amazing!” she proclaimed while pointing to a tree nearby that looked exactly like all the trees down the row.
According to Wilson, who has been cherry-picking for the past few years and graciously invited us to join him, Memorial Day weekend is prime time for picking. Apparently this year’s schedule was a few weeks behind, and we had to be much more selective. In any case, I left the orchard very happy with a huge bag of Bing and Ranier cherries, plus a few peaches, for under $10.
